CoolClasp – dive dive dive

Apart from the obvious holding and storing and hanging up stuff, you’ll notice that coolclasps are ideal for quickly clipping something onto your belt or side and you can unclip at 20 metres with ease.

If you are carrying a bag or extra equipment, carry a CoolClasp too. I once "rescued" a metal box from 15 metres in Cape Town with a coolclasp, avoiding sharp edges but clearing out rubbish. go CoolClasp!

Superb method of attaching an underwater camera to you – use two CoolClasps, one on the camera, with a tight loop, and another on your belt. Insert hand into loop, unclip and use – then reclip and remove your hand. Underwater cameras can sink or rise – either way they’re a pain to chase.
